Machine Operator

Job Description f you have experience, we need YOU. If you don't and want a great job, we will train YOU. After training or with experience: Set up machine (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines Test operation of machines periodically Inspect finished product for any blemishes or discrepancies Fix issues that might occur during the shift and report to Shop Lead Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws Keep records of approved and defective units or final products and report to Shop Lead Maintain activity logs and maintenance logs Job Requirements Requirements and skills: For those experienced: Proven experience as a Door Machine Operator is a BIG plus We will train the right candidate with machine aptitude and a great attitude Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.) Understanding of production procedures Adherence to health & safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear) Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals is helpful Attention to detail is a must Physical strength and stamina High School diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus Setting up manufacturing equipment with shop leads Using machine equipment to complete tasks Performing routine inspections of assigned equipment Willing to work overtime when necessary Evaluating the efficiency of each unit regularly; identifying improvements as needed We E-Verify and Drug Test Medical and Dental Benefits available after 60 days We offer competitive wages We are an Equal Opportunity Employer & Drug Free Workplace Equal Opportunity Employer - We E-Verify & Drug Test
