Machine Operator

Job Summary Performs work associated with the operation of assigned mechanical equipment and product packaging activities in a manufacturing environment. Schedule: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM Job Duties Operate assigned mechanical equipment Move parts to be sorted from staging area Follow parts sorting schedule and expedite parts flow to reflect changing production needs Report completed transactions into tracking system After sorting process is complete, package product into packaging cartons Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.) Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned Experience and Education Perform work under direct supervision Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff Possess beginning to working knowledge of subject matter, including use of basic hand tools and simple gages 0 to 2 years of experience Powered industrial equipment certification preferred Competencies/ Skills Ability to interpret work instructions Ability to follow written and verbal directions, including blue prints and production order schedules Basic verbal and written communication skills Basic mathematical skills Ability to use vision sorting computer system Other details Pay Type Hourly Hiring Rate $18.50 Apply Now Mundelein, IL, 1000 Allanson Road, Mundelein, Illinois, United States of America
