Machine Operator (Die Cutter) Job Overview: The Machine Operator will operate all aspects of a die cuttings machine. Performs manual and machine operator tasks related to the set-up, maintenance, and operation of the die cutter.

Machine Operator (Die Cutter) Pay : $25-30/hour + $5000 retention bonus

Machine Operator Shift: 2-10pm (M-F)

Machine Operator (Die Cutter) Key Requirements:

•  High school graduate or equivalent
•  Consistent work history
•  1 year minimum experience as a Die Cutter on a Bobst, Youngshin, or large format clam shell equipment (such as Thompson or Standard)
•  Technical or vocational degree in graphic arts preferred

Machine Operator (Die Cutter) Key Responsibilities:

•  Reads, reviews and understands the job ticket, layout sheet, proofs, artwork, and customer specifications before beginning the scheduled job
•  Use Rules sheet for inspecting trims, straightness, correctness of folds, and checks sheet against proofs and artwork.
•  Ability to converge fine lines such as alignment of one (1) point rules to check accuracy of cutting
•  Removes and preserves all dies for storage
•  Performs routine and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
