Machine Operator

JOB OVERVIEW We are a plastics manufacturer in Houston, TX hiring Machine Operators interested in a stable, long term career. The starting pay is up to $20 an hour with room for growth and in-house training. Must be able to work a rotating schedule (days and nights) and have great aptitude towards respect, safety, and learning. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is prefered. Interview and Start this month Essential Functions: Commitment to a safe work environment Set up and shut down machine according to specifications of work order. Works on different types of equipment to carry out the production cycle Is responsible for taking care of routine machine maintenance and keeping work area in neat condition Must be able to learn to operate industrial machines such as extruders, electrical hoist and tower equipment Flexibility: Performs other responsibilities and projects as assigned. Rotating Schedule: 24-hour Production works in 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. Rotate shift every month. Monday - Friday Schedule. Weekends off.
