Job Overview As a Machine Operator, you will: Operate assigned production machinery in accordance with company standards to complete customer orders. 2nd Shift Schedule 3:00pm-1:30am, Monday-Thursday. OT is on Fridays from 3:00pm-11:00pm. No weekends required (unless you volunteer). Required Qualifications 8th grade education or higher The ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance The ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs with assistance Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications Prior machine operator experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints Computer experience, including keyboard/mouse skills Ability to use precision measuring instruments, such as measuring gauges (calipers and micrometers) and tape measures Major Responsibilities Accesses electronic production system to determine daily schedule. Verifies parts received against pick tickets for accurate counts, colors, part numbers, and packaging. Monitors material flow and updates electronic production system accordingly. Selects the appropriate machine settings or program according to specifications. Sets up and operates machine. Makes minor machine adjustments. May make simple repairs. Performs change-overs (adjusts tooling or tolerances, selects programs, etc.). Investigates & documents production nonconformance issues.
