We are seeking a full time Machine Operator for CapeAble where you'll have the opportunity to work for a globally recognized brand at our location in Fort Wayne, IN. This position will work closely with the floor leadership and quality assurance teams. A candidate for this position will complete some tasks alone, while other tasks are completed collaboratively with others to create and assemble components in accordance with our design and quality standards. This position will also assist to ensure we meet our delivery schedules. Expectations: Produce assemblies with repetitive machine operation and/or manual operations. Ensuring machine is loaded with material and operating properly as trained. Complete light duty manufacturing (lifting, pulling, cutting, gluing). Ensuring daily rate is completed or exceeded. To fill in other production operations as needed. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma/GED 3-5 years of Supervisory experience Experience with industrial machine operations Fluent English Speaking-Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus. Personal Competencies Desired/Required: Ability to take instruction and willingness to be trained. Attention to detail-take pride in producing a quality product. Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings. Ability to use measurement tools. Must maintain equipment and practice safe working conditions. Must be performance driven. Has the ability to use basic hand tools. Is comfortable with multitasking and operating self-sufficiently. Ability to operate self-sufficiently.
