To learn more about Berry, visit Responsibilities Responsible for setup, adjustment and operation of machinery/equipment to produce orders within provided customer specifications and quality standards Continually performs line audits to ensure good product consistency and maintain acceptable quality levels Responsible to correct significant deficiencies that their line audits have exposed. This includes troubleshooting issues that affect mechanical performance and/or quality levels Responsible for good mechanical running condition on the line; makes repairs (may have assistance of Maintenance Department for complex repairs); performs lubrication. Ensure tooling alignment, obtain proper color match against standard with customer requirements and line clearance procedures are followed. Records daily production and scrap figures for the shift and reports to Supervisor. Uses manual and computerized systems for recording information. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Mechanical background preferred. Position is a 12 hour night shift position with a unique schedule.
