Machine Operator

$17.50-22.70/hour Shifts: 2nd shift: 3pm-11:30pm 3rd shift: 11pm-7:30am The Production Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the fillers, packers, labelers and palletizers. It is the responsibility of the Machine Operator to ensure that a quality product is produced while at the same time keeping the machines running and ensuring that minimum downtime is experienced. Job Requirements: Possess strong communication skills both verbal and written (English). Be familiar with all safety rules and work safely. Be able to read and follow instructions. Be able to do basic math calculations accurately. Be able to prioritize and make a quick decision. Be able to complete any required paperwork accurately. Maintain good attendance. Work weekends and overtime as required. High energy level. Be self-directed and work with minimal supervision. Ability to routinely lift 40lbs. HACCP and GMP knowledge a plus. Experience inputting results into a computer system.
