Rosco Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a Machine Operator to join our second shift. The Machine Operator is responsible for the efficient operation of various types of machinery within the manufacturing facility. This role involves setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting machinery to ensure production targets are met safely and efficiently.


Machine Operator Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation: Operate assigned machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Setup: Set up machinery for production runs, including adjusting settings, loading materials, and ensuring proper alignment.
  • Monitoring: Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any deviations or issues.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards. Make machinery adjustments as needed to maintain quality.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal performance. This may include cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot machinery issues as they arise, diagnosing problems and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, production output, and any maintenance or quality issues.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members regarding production schedules, machine status, and any issues or concerns.


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience.
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Understanding of production and plant processes.
  • Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
