Job Description: The Machine Operator is a key position that is responsible for operating on the Samples Auto Line and/or other machinery to produce high-quality Cambria samples products while maintaining safety standards and productivity goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Complete overall maintenance of the machine, including recalibration, changing tooling, and greasing Load finished product onto pallets and carts Follow safe operating procedures, such as lock out tag out and using personal protective equipment Make sure optimal quality is achieved on product produced Maintain adequate levels of supplies needed to run the machines Maintain good documentation of daily productivity and scraps Perform other duties as requested by management Clean machinery daily Minimum Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Experience: Previous mechanical experience preferred, experience operating a forklift and crane required Qualifications & Skills: Excellent analytical and proactive problem-solving skills Detail oriented and a strong sense of urgency Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, foresee and prevent issues Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Demonstrated ability of responsiveness to company goals Work well independently as well as in a team environment Ability to work extended hours as needed Cambria Success Factors: High attention to detail Reliable and punctual Direct communication Sense of urgency in completing work Capable of multitasking Work well both independently and with a team Self-motivated Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods of time as well as frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements: Steel toed boots Hearing Protection Safety glasses Cut-proof gloves High visibility vest Cambria offers a competitive benefits package that encompasses Health and Dental Insurance, Paid Time Off, 7 paid Holidays , 401(k) plus matching, Discretionary Profit Sharing, Flexible Spending Account; Life, Supplemental Life, and Disability Insurance; Referral Program, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Employee Discount and Professional Development Assistance.
