To learn more about Berry, visit Responsibilities Responsibilities/Principal Duties: Operate extrusion machinery Troubleshoot machinery and process to maintain production of quality product Set machine parameters to standard operating conditions Complete paperwork accurately for production reporting, shipping, and testing results Understand and follow the quality policy Analyze data using SPC techniques and adjust manufacturing parameters to achieve property targets Maintain a clean working environment by cleaning floors, machine surfaces, walkways, and all other areas that could potentially result in product contamination Assist in the development of operating conditions for new or improved products Work cooperatively with others in a self-directed team environment Work in a safe manner and follow all safety rules. Report any safety hazards immediately Qualifications Physical/Cognitive Requirements: Work is performed in a plant environment with frequent contact with others. Requires prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, and stretching, manual dexterity, frequent lifting up to 25 pounds, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Demonstration of ability to write simple correspondence read and understand simple instructions, present information in one-on-one and small group situations with other employees in the organization. Teamwork and communication skills are required.
