Machine Operator
Job Description:
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the production process. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires previous experience as a Machine Operator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of machinery, including but not limited to cutting machines, laminating machines, and extruders.
- Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper functioning and adjust as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as necessary.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and troubleshoot machinery.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret written instructions and diagrams.
Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
