Our mission is to support and enable the makers who fuel the pursuit of musical expression. We are currently searching for an exceptional Machine Operator to join our team in Anaheim, CA. A Fender is more than an instrument, it's a cultural symbol that resonates globally. The Machine Operator operates several machines but not limited to CNC machines, Mills, Routers and slitters. Machine operator will be asked to perform set up and "change overs" on equipment as needed. Essential Functions Ensures own production conforms to requirements of quality and schedule. Inspects input/output quality requirements on all units processed. Follows approved procedures to complete all tasks. Maintains work area in a clean and organized manner. Handles and stores all regulated materials in compliance with company policy, state, and federal regulations. Fills in for absenteeism, to assist with excess workloads and to perform miscellaneous operations required to maintain a product flow. Ability to work overtime as business needs dictate. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policy, state, and federal regulations. Inspects parts for proper size and dimensions. Cleans and maintains equipment regularly. Take tool inventory at beginning and end of shift. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years' experience and/or training. Machinery, metal bending or fabrication, machine shop, machine drilling, or machine cutting experience. Ability to read blueprints and job orders for specifications and dimensions. Understand tooling instructions. Physical requirements: stand, walk, lift, twist, pull, carry, squat and reach. Adapts to change, is open to new ideas, takes on new responsibilities, and adjusts plans to meet changing needs. Meets all team deadlines and responsibilities, listens to others and values opinions, helps department Supervisor meet goals, and promotes a team atmosphere. Will need to have ability to read a tape measure and caliper. Subject to the foregoing, the current pay rate for this position is $18.00 per hour.
