Machine Operator

Position Title: Machine Operator Department: Production Division: Sentinel Location: Albion, NE, USA $12,000 Sign-on Bonus paid out over 2 years. Responsibilities: Fabricate metal parts according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors. Shear, bend, and weld steel pieces, using metal shears, press machines, and welding equipment. Assemble hoisting equipment and rigging to move heavy equipment and materials. Pull and push structural-steel members into positions for fabrication. Unload and position prefabricated steel units for hoisting as needed Shear flange pieces in straight cuts. Operate cranes, side lifts, forklifts, and electric lifts. Perform daily and periodical maintenance on equipment used in department. Change punch and dies as necessary. Set up small parts shearing process. Qualifications: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Required 6 plus months of machine operation experience. Must be able to read the tape measure to within 1/16th inch tolerance.
