Machine Lead Operator

Health Benefits from date of hire Vacation 10 paid holidays a year 8-hour shifts Opportunity for growth and advancement 401K Bi-weekly pay Machine Lead Operator Position Summary: This position is responsible for operating a machine to ensure efficient operation of equipment and production of high-quality products. Third Shift: 10:00pm- 6:00am Key Responsibilities: Work safely utilizing a working knowledge of LOTO, PPE, and other safe work practices Perform general set-up of machines Prepare materials for production process Load and unload material from machine Assist in monitoring operation of machine Track and label finished products manually and electronically Communicate effectively with helpers, supervisors, and maintenance to resolve issues Set priorities to match the importance of job assignments Participate in continuous improvement projects and teams Physical Requirements: Lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 lbs., Standing up to 8+ hours a day, twisting, bending, squatting, and varying temperatures Education: Minimum High School Diploma or GED Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. This role requires basic computer proficiencies, multi-task effectively, sharp attention to detail, a desire to work in a collaborative team atmosphere, and the ability to perform duties with minimal direction.
