Job DetailsRequirements:
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics
- 8+ years' experience building automation equipment, conveyors, robotics, jigs, etc
- Ability to supervise other machine builders and subcontractors
- Vocation education / training, preferred
- Knowledge of 5S principles
- Open to 10-20% travel throughout the region
Day-to-day:
- Build equipment per specs
- Work with engineers to fine-tune designs and overcome obstacles
- Safely operate mills, lathes, drill presses, welding equipment, grinders, saws, etc
- Oversee subcontractors throughout the building and installation process
- Maintain documentation for changes and feedback
