MA/CMA

Job Summary:
To assist the dermatologist or dermatology mid-level in patient care by preparing exam rooms,
escorting patients, prepping the patient for the provider, scribing for the provider, and assisting
in treatment and patient education. This individual is also responsible for routine decontamination and sterilization procedures, instrument processing, and aiding in clinical inventory management. Maintain and uphold established patient care standards, operational processes, and company policies.

Education and Experience:
•   High School Diploma or equivalent.
•   Associate s degree, CMA, or LPN required.
•   Dermatology experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•   Familiarly of EMR systems and/or ability to train effectively on EMR system
•   Consistent professional conduct with patients, staff and public
•   Meticulous attention to detail
•   Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•   Ability to maintain accurate records.
•   Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients, medical assistants, physicians/mid-levels, and other staff.
•   Strong communication, problem-solving, and planning and organizational skills.
•   Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and abbreviations. Hours vary from 7:30A to 5:30P - guaranteed 40 hours a week

Background and Drug Screen Required
Will assist in Sanford and Pittsboro office if needed.
