The ideal LVN will thrive in a fast paced environment and enjoys being on the go during their shift. The Family Practice LVN performs patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate. Educates patients and documents patient interactions. Practices infection control. Contributes to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.
This position is Part-Time, working 8 hour day shifts. The hours are Tuesday and Wednesday 8-5PM, Thursday 8-12pm. The training schedule is also Part time with the same hours. This position is located at the Rancho Bernardo Scripps Clinic within the Family Practice Department. Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: - Current California LVN license
- Completion of accredited LVN program
- American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Provider
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow instructions in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: - Minimum of one year outpatient experience preferred.
- Previous experience within a Pediatrics department preferred.
