You're a LVN looking to gain experience in both worlds - the in-depth work with admitted patients - located in the hustle of the Emergency Department (ED) at Clovis Community. In this opportunity as a Med-Surg LVN in the ED, you'll be a key member of an interdepartmental care team, navigating through the recently expanded 70-bed ED that sees an average of 160 moderate to high acuity patients daily. • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
• Completion of an accredited Vocational Nursing School program OR become licensed by equivalency required Licenses and Certifications
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• LVN - Current State of California Licensed Vocational Nurse License required
• LVNIVTX - IV Therapy Certification (LVN) required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
