Locums APP - Emergency Medicine Position in Rice Lake, WI Coverage - Start: 05-29-2024- End: Ongoing Position Details - Practice Setting: Inpatient- EMR System: Cerner- Providers Requested: 1- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only- Will Facility Accept Multiple Providers? No- Admissions Required? No- Temporary Privileges Available? Yes- Is Hospital Stroke Certified? No- Patients Per Shift: 10-20- Bed In Department: 16 Requirements - Minimum Board Certification: Eligible- The Following Certifications Are Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS- License Requirement: Licensed in WI or IMLC- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days Location & Accommodations - Nearest Airport: Minneapolis or Eau Claire- Lodging Recommendations: Check LS matrix Work Schedule - This is an ongoing need for 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week) APC coverage working every other weekend. Start date of 5/29 for orientation before covering 5/30-31 shifts with the June schedule TBD.- Shift times: 10a-10p Mon-Sun- Will see all levels of patients in the ED and all ages for UC and EM (no UC department) Additional Information - Acuity of patients: 15% Resuscitation/Emergent, 50% Urgent, 35% Semi-Urgent/Non-Urgent- Yearly patient volume: 14,000 visits per year- 24/7 physician coverage- Percent of admissions: 9.9% year to date- Percent of transfers: 3.9% year to date PLEASE NOTE - AHA certification is required
