Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Treatment Nurse

Position Opening: Part Time 12 hrs / week; 6:30am - 10:30am, includes every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

Pay: $30.15 - 32.55 per hour, Plus $1.25 hr / weekend shift differential

Department Skilled Nursing Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Treatment Nurse

LPN Treatment Nurse Job Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this job is the completion of treatments including but not limited to wound care, creams/lotions/powders, and documentation. The nursing care must be in accordance with the latest federal, state and local regulations and this facility's policies.

1. Receives report from charge nurse and/or RN supervisor for assignment.

2. Notifies nursing assistants of any unusual or additional care needed for residents assigned to them.

3. Completes treatments per physician's orders following current policies and procedures.

4. Completes nursing documentation in Point Click Care (POC).

5. Receives written, faxed and verbal orders per facility policy.

6. Maintains safety and infection control standards following the regulations of the State and Federal regulatory agencies.

7. Initiates Incident and Accident reports per policy.

8. Update Care Plans according.

9. Notify families of new wounds, order changes, or other pertinent information as needed.

10. Keeps RN Supervisor informed of status of residents including all incidents and accidents.

11. Responsible for attending mandatory meetings.

12. Adheres to Corporate Compliance Plan.

13. Complies with HIPAA Privacy standards.

14. Completes additional tasks as required to ensure that the highest quality care is maintained.
