We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse- LPN to join our team. Our Personal Care home is an active community for senior living, join us in caring for residents residing in apartment style living. We are specifically looking for an WEEKENDS 7AM-7PM Supervisor COVID 19 VACCINE REQUIRED; $5,000 sign on bonus. $30/HR 48 hrs bi-weekly
Job Responsibilities:
- Must play an active role in supervising Med Techs and Caregivers in our Personal Care Home
- Record a patient's medical history accurately
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
- Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
- Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
- Communicate with patients' family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions
- Effectively communicate with Administrator and Director of Nursing
