Job Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Regularly monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting care provided and patients' responses.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team, including RNs, physicians, and other staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Patient Advocacy: Act as a patient advocate, addressing and resolving any concerns or issues that arise.
- Infection Control: Adhere to infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illnesses.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Education: Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid OH LPN license.
- Current and valid CPR license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
