Bay View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care
- Perform diagnostic tests, such as sonography, under the supervision of a physician
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
Requirements:
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Experience in providing care to children is preferred
- Proficient in medication administration and knowledgeable about medical terminology
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as Athenahealth, is a plus
- Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Please note that experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Botox administration are not required for this position.
