One of our top clients, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. The LPN will provide quality patient care and support under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities for LPN:
- Assist registered nurses or physicians in the delivery of patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history accurately and thoroughly
- Provide basic patient care, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients as needed
- Collect specimens for laboratory testing and perform basic laboratory tests as ordered
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures
- Respond to emergency situations and provide basic life support as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications for LPN:
- Active LPN license
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of medications, treatments, and nursing procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
