LPN- Days/Midshift Medsurg

Job Description Summary: MedSurg- Days or MidShift ( 12 or 8 hour shifts) LPN License Welcome Bonus Eligib;e Responsible for the delivery of patient care by applying skills and techniques common to the practice of vocational nursing. The Licensed Practical Nurse functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs tasks related to patient care. Job Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing Program Experience: Previous acute care experience preferred Licenses/Certificates: Current licensure in the State of Indiana as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Newly hired staff must have or obtain the following certifications within the following time frames: Initial BLS within 7 days of start date but no more than 30 days. Basic EKG class within 30 days of start date but no more than 90 days. Initial ALS and initial PALS within 90 days but no more than 6 months. Certifications must be renewed per certification policy if already obtained.
