Lowboy Driver

Rogers Group is currently seeking an experienced LOWBOY DRIVER in Eastern Middle TN based out of Algood, TN. The successful candidate for this position will have previous experience driving a lowboy and operating some heavy equipment. They must possess a strong commitment to safety excellence. This individual must be safe, self-motivating, have a clean driving record, Class A CDL and prior experience. Wages starting at $26/hr and increase depending on verifiable experience. The lowboy driver is responsible for using the lowboy trailer to transport oversized, heavy equipment to and from various job sites, and also in transporting heavy equipment needing repair to the shop. The lowboy driver will be asked to perform other tasks around the shop to help the drilling manager. Qualifications Uncompromising focus on safety excellence. Must maintain a valid CDL Class A License. Must adhere to company policy to receive a current Medical Examiner's Certificate. Minimum of 2 years truck driving experience preferred. Motivated - self-starter, able to complete tasks without a large amount of direct supervision. Knowledgeable of DOT regulations and monitoring changes. Previous experience operating heavy equipment is a plus. Ability to maintain composure in stressful traffic or other situations. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends. Team player with ability to get along with others. Safe driving record. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
