Lounge Technician

- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment in our lounges, including but not limited to sound systems, lighting systems, and video equipment

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance

- Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues and address them in a timely manner

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all equipment is set up and functioning properly for events and activities

- Keep inventory of all equipment and supplies and order replacements as needed

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for equipment upgrades

- Train and supervise junior technicians and provide guidance and support as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in audiovisual technology preferred

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cruise ship or hotel setting

- Strong knowledge of audiovisual equipment, including sound systems, lighting systems, and video equipment

- Familiarity with various software and systems used in audiovisual technology

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
