R- Description Leidos has an opening for a highly qualified Logistics Specialist for the Multi-Domain Solutions Division. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your experience to support across all-domain large-scale weapon systems, Information Technology Systems, and Command and Control Systems to realize the Department of Defense Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). In this role you will support an Integrated Product Team (IPT) for the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Processing Node (PN) to design and implement solutions that can be delivered at speed, scale, and with the necessary security to deliver operational advantages to the joint warfighter. ABMS is a top modernization priority for the Department of the Air Force and will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all the services across JADC2. This position will work closely with Program Managers, other domain engineers, and Government counterparts across Government and Industry partners. This position will be largely remote, but need access to one of our sites as needed. Our site locations are Alexandria, VA, Dallas, TX, Melbourne, FL or Salt Lake City, UT. Primary Responsibilities Conduct thorough analysis and assessment of product support requirements to inform the development and refinement of the Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP), ensuring alignment with program objectives and customer needs.
Work with the integrated logistics support manager in providing product support program status, providing a program schedule(s), conducting product support analysis, and providing support to required Contractor and Government meetings.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure digital hardware, software, and networking components required for the establishment and maintenance of digital infrastructure systems.
Develop contingency plans and protocols to mitigate logistical risks and ensure continuity of operations in the event of disruptions or emergencies.
Provide logistical support and coordination for equipment maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, facilitating uninterrupted operation of digital infrastructure systems.
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and subcontractors, facilitating communication, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment of logistics support efforts with program goals and objectives.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including ILSPs, subcontract agreements, progress reports, and performance metrics, to track program milestones and ensure transparency and accountability in logistics support activities.
Additional assignments as needed by the program. Basic Qualifications BA degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience in developing supportability strategies and logistics plans addressing lifecycle sustainment.
Strong skills in communication, partnership, and social skills to work effectively with multiple disciplines, domains, contractors, government agencies and other stakeholders.
Knowledge of Government Property Management and FAR 52.245-1(b) requirements.
Familiarization with Government Property Accountability systems, such as DPAS or ServiceNow type.
Familiarization with DoD practices for IUID marking and registration.
Tracking and report status and other metrics against goals on an ongoing basis for service improvement opportunities.
Be able to work independently, establish priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
US citizenship and an active Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.
Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with with customer representatives, domain experts, and systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems
Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience Preferred Qualifications Hands-on with, or oversight of, MIL-HDBK-502/GIEA-STD-0007 related tasks and analyses, specifically provisioning:
