Job Overview:
The Logistics Pricing Analyst is central to providing analytical and decision support to both senior financial and executive operational management teams. The role involves developing, interpreting, and implementing financial planning, analysis, and control concepts. As a key contributor to the business, the Logistics Pricing Analyst will have a significant impact on major business decisions through analytical support, offering a comprehensive view of the business with a strong focus on operations.

Duties and responsibilities:

•   Provide support for weekly/monthly RFI/RFP processes to furnish customer analysis data.

•   Construct analytical models to identify pricing opportunities and communicate these to executive and upper management.

•   Report on current operational metrics by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data to management at all levels.

•   Offer insights into the organization s asset utilization, analyzing expense per asset, identifying trends, performing variance analysis, and calculating total asset costs.

•   Conduct ad hoc analysis and develop data models to assist in managerial decision-making processes.

•   Design and implement new processes aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies and impacting company profitability positively.

•   Recommend operational changes to achieve alignment with organizational goals.

•   Contribute to the team by completing projects timely and efficiently.

•   Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

•   Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university, with a focus in Finance, Business Administration, or Logistics.

•   A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in finance and/or logistics roles.

•   A thorough understanding of budgeting processes.

•   Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite, with VBA knowledge considered an advantage.

•   A self-motivated individual possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

•   Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with meticulous attention to detail.

•   Capable of interpreting data and delivering strategic analysis to the highest levels of management.

•   Willingness to travel to building locations on the east coast as needed (approximately 10% travel).
