Job Function/Description:
As a Logistics Coordinator at our Plano, TX location, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operational logistics in line with customer requirements. Your responsibilities will include adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions, booking, tracking, and managing various types of cargo shipments, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining account documentation, analyzing data, and recommending improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow SOP and Work Instructions for operational best practices.
- Book, track, and manage various cargo shipments.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the process.
- Liaise daily with customers, carriers, and internal staff.
- Maintain up-to-date account documentation.
- Increase customer satisfaction and business share through communication.
- Monitor account issues and implement solutions.
- Analyze service and cost data for improvement recommendations.
- Generate and deliver reports as needed.
- Ensure accuracy of data entry into relevant systems.
- Monitor trends and report changes to management.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of logistics experience preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Korean/English bilingual preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to engage and work directly with customers.
- Solutions-minded and self-motivated.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Able to handle high-pressure and fast-paced operations.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Experience with NAFTA/USMCA cross-border transportation preferred.
- Relevant logistics industry knowledge.
- Familiarity with logistics systems (WMS/TMS).
