About You


This individual will provide project coordination and expertise in the fulfillment processes used at STIHL Inc. export warehouse. You will become a change agent for continuous improvement and standardization. Also, you will support initiatives that drive service, accuracy and efficiency improvements.






Job Duties & Responsibilities


  • Manages challenging projects ranging from analysis, planning and implementation in an international sales and logistics environment, as well as optimizing the supply chain within the STIHL Group.
  • Manages and coordinates vessel and trucker contracts within the Export Department
  • Responsible for logistical requirements associated with implementing and optimizing ERP system(s).

  • Develops further implementation of STIHL warehouse logistics standards for the optimization of existing.

  • Develops logistics key figures, tools and instruments as well as supports metrics collection for the Logistics Balanced.

  • Scorecard, including group-wide logistic cost and performance recording.

  • Participates in the review and, if necessary, application of new logistics technologies at the STIHL warehouse locations.

  • Implementation of new group standard for Export Control. Become familiar with US and International regulations when it comes to embargoes and sanctions so that STIHL Inc remains compliant with existing and new regulations.

  • Participates in the capital investment process for the warehouse locations.

  • All other duties as assigned.






Specifications


  • Experience with SAP or other warehouse management ERP systems.
