ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a dynamic logistics firm based in Linden, NJ. Specializing in frontline Ocean CFS and IPI networks, they deliver top-notch distribution, transportation, and consolidation services with a focus on timely and reliable results.
Summary
We're currently seeking a Logistics Administrator to join their team. The Logistics Administrator will play a pivotal role in coordinating between customers, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure seamless operational services. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Negotiating transportation rates with vendors
  • Serving as a liaison between customers, partner warehouses, and transport companies to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Accurately tracking and tracing cargo, as well as dispatching and load planning
  • Cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with customers, vendors, and partner warehouses
  • Upholding standard operating procedures and maintaining customer profiles
  • Handling invoicing for services rendered
  • Processing data through the Company system and addressing any issues that arise
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations for shipments of hazardous materials
  • Closing shipments and maintaining filing systems
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in an office environment, with a focus on transportation or load planning
  • Familiarity with logistics or shipping industry practices
  • Knowledge of global supply chain operations is beneficial
  • Prior experience in freight forwarding or NVOCC operations is highly desirable

Compensation
  • Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience
