Locum Tenens NP/PA Position in Pain Management Position: Locum - NP/PASpecialty: Pain ManagementLocation: Near Kyburz, CA Job Description: Seeking an experienced NP/PA specializing in Pain Management for locum tenens coverage. The assignment starts on January 8, 2024, with a schedule of Monday to Thursday, 7 AM to 5:30 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break). This position offers flexibility, with options for either 4 days every other week or 2 days a week. The initial contract spans three months, with the possibility of extension. The clinic operates under a collegial culture, offering a supportive environment for the NP/PA. Details: Start Date: January 8, 2024 Shift Type: Days (Monday to Thursday) Shift Hours: 7 AM - 5:30 PM (with a 30-minute lunch) Schedule: 4 days every other week or 2 days a week Duration: 3 months (with option to extend) Setting: Outpatient clinic Duties: Seeing pain management patients; NP/PA not expected to escalate opiate doses (typically done by the physician) Required Procedures: None (procedures are optional; physician is willing to teach if NP/PA is interested) Support Staff: Medical Assistant, Front Office, working under the direction of the Pain Management Physician EMR: Cerner PCA Additional Information: Clinic visits: 14-17 patients per day First-day training includes EHR and guidance from the Pain Management Physician The position is located in an outdoor paradise with mountains, alpine lakes, and rivers, offering recreational activities such as snow skiing, mountain biking, boating, and world-class river rafting and kayaking.
