Holland Hospital is looking for an experienced Hospitalist to join their team. Our position is unique in that it allows you to do it all ICU, rounding, admissions, night shift, and procedures.
Details- Practice Setting (Inpatient/ICU/Rounding/Admitting): Hospital Medicine Team - 7/on-7/off
- Monday-Sunday, 5 rotations - ICU/Telemetry, A Rounder (spine/ortho floor, telemetry overflow), B Rounder (med/surg floor), C Rounder, night shift (7p-7a).
- Dates of Coverage: 3/25-3/31, 4/8-4/14, 4/22-4/28, 5/6-5/12, 5/20-5/26, 6/3-6/9, 6/17-6/23, 7/1-7/7 - potential to extend
- Schedule (Shifts and Hours): ICU/TU - 6:30a-6:30p, A/B/C - 7a-7p, night shift 7p-7a; orientation 2-3 days, 6-8 hours/day
- APP's provide coverage 7a-3a
- Other hospitalists will be present during Locum's coverage except for 3a-630a on night shift.
- Average Number of Patients Per Day - ADMISSIONS: 0-3 - APPs help with admissions
- Average Number of Patients Per Day - ICU: 2-3 but can vary
- Average Number of Patients Per Day - INPATIENT: 16-18
- Hospitalist will need to respond to in-house codes - YES
- Documentation System/EMR: Cerner
- Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): Level 3
- Procedures/Duties Required: Non-Invasive Vent Management (bipap/cpap), Ventilation Management, Intubation (ETT/INT), Central Line, Arterial Line, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar punctures. Evaluation and Mgmt of Acute Volume / BP Issues, EKG Interpretation, Arthrocentesis.
- Estimated credentialing timeframe - up to 90 days
Pay reimburse rental car, mileage and lodging - Holland Hospital has a guest home across the street from the hospital.
$193 per hour REQUIREMENTS
- Internal Medicine Board Certification
- MI License
- BLS, ACLS
- must be available 7on/7off including night shift
- Required procedures listed in description. Case logs for procedures (minimum of 10 for intubations, more preferred)
- Clean background for expedited credentialing
- Covid Vaccination
