Job Details

Seeking a skilled Locums Anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care for various surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal surgical outcomes in a dynamic medical environment.

Responsibilities:

Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
Customize anesthesia techniques based on patients' needs and surgical requirements.
Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Assess patients' medical histories, physical conditions, and medications to determine anesthesia suitability.
Monitor patients' vital signs, blood gases, and other parameters during surgery.
Manage postoperative pain and recovery.
Document patient care activities accurately and maintain medical records.
Communicate with medical staff and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient management.
Adhere to hospital policies, guidelines, and safety protocols for a sterile surgical environment.

Requirements:

Valid California medical license and Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology.
Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program.
Minimum availability of 1 week per month with ongoing availability.
Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.
Experience with cases including General, GI, ENT, GYN, Ortho, Vascular, Thoracic, Urology, Plastics, Ophthalmology is preferred.
Comfortable with 8-hour shifts and rotating call schedules, including weekends.
Ability to manage own cases and provide comprehensive anesthesia care.
Dedicated to patient safety, quality care, and ethical medical practice.
