Job Summary
An MA based facility and PRN Healthcare are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN for locum coverage until early 2025, with 24-hour in-house shifts to bridge recruitment gaps. Based in Massachusetts, the practice focuses on low-risk pregnancies and offers comprehensive support with 16 beds, a Level One Nursery, and a full complement of staff including RNs, CNMs, and surgical PAs. Responsibilities include routine and complicated deliveries, gynecological procedures, and interpretation of obstetric ultrasounds. Shift Schedule
Scheduling: 15- Hour Call Shifts per Month
Required Certification & Experience
- BC or BE required
- BLS required
- MA License preferred
- Required Obstetrics Procedures: Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.), FHR Interpretation NST/CST/FSE,OB ultrasounds, Performance of Interpretation, OB ultrasounds, Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability)
- Labor and Delivery Required Procedures: Routine Delivery Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc., VBAC s, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
- Gynecology Required Procedures: D&C, Surgical Gynecology Open, Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal Ligation, LOA s, Chromal Tubation, Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA s
