Our client, a reputable clinic in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking an Addiction Medicine Physician to join their team on a locum basis. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience and be comfortable prescribing methadone. This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on providing Outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment, Peer Support, and Case Management Services to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient addiction medicine services, including evaluations, physicals, and medication management.
- Prescribe and manage methadone, Suboxone, Vivitrol, and other medications as appropriate for patients undergoing treatment.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with opiate addiction.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, counselors, and peer support specialists to provide holistic care.
- Ensure compliance with all state OTP licensing requirements, including maintaining a DEA license and any necessary certifications.
