Docstar is working with an Indian Health Services client of ours in Oklahoma that is looking for an ER Physician for 12 shifts a month, for 3-4 months to start.
We are looking for a physician that is ED board certified or FM board certified with ED experience. This will be around a three maybe four month stint starting March 1 st . Our ER is high acuity and high volume and they will need to be able to manage several patients at a time. It is hard to say the actual number of cases they will manage at a time but not uncommon to have 4 plus patients at a time. We are double covered with Physicians in our ER 24/7. As you are aware anything and everything can walk through our doors at any time.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- 12+ Emergency Department shifts per Month including 12p-12a shifts and weekends.
- Emergency Medicine experience required
- ER connected to Urgent Care at Hospital and handles the more serious cases
- Mostly adult population
- EMR- Cerner
- Must be ED Certified or FM Certified with ED Experience
- MUST have PALS, DEA, BLS/ACLS,
- Must have COVID VACINATION
- BACKGROUND/DRUG TEST REQUIRED
