Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Locum CRNA to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. As a Locum CRNA, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia services to patients in various medical settings. You will work under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures. This is a contract position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including general, regional, and local anesthesia
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure their safety and comfort
  • Manage patients' airways, breathing, and circulation during surgery
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses, to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including anesthesia records, patient assessments, and medications administered
  • Respond to emergencies and provide life support measures as necessary
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities to stay current with advances in anesthesia practice

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Ability to obtain licensure in the state(s) where contract assignments are located
