Local CDL Drivers with Mauser Packaging enjoy a predictable Monday through Friday work schedule where they are home with their families daily.

Mauser Packaging also offers our Local CDL Drivers a $3,500 sign on bonus and an annual safety bonus of $2,000/yr if you are accident and violation free.

Responsibilities of the Local CDL Driver:
Delivering freight short - medium distances across the country's road networks.
Planning routes efficiently and delivering freight on time.
Performing prescribed truck inspections before departure to ensure good running order.
Ensuring proper placarding & paperwork for Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
Performing service checks on tire pressure, oil, and fluid levels, as well as minor repairs, when required.
Logging hours and distances driven, rest stop durations, as well as all fuel, repair, and toll expenses.
Communicating any delays due to road conditions, accidents, or breakdowns to dispatchers.
Check containers for damage before delivery and pick-up, report all unsafe items to supervisor immediately.
Complying with federal and state trucking rules and regulations, including mandatory rest periods and weight restrictions.

Requirements of the Local CDL Driver:
Valid CDL Class A license with 3+ years of driving experience.
Experience with and adherence to DOT regulations for the transport of Dangerous Goods (HAZMAT required)
Maintains all required company paperwork.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
Capable of working in extreme working conditions (outdoors, weather, terrain)

Pay: From $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
