Loan Operations Specialist

SNI Companies is currently seeking a Loan Operations Specialist for our client in Clearwater, FL, known for their commitment to exceptional service. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our team and contribute to the efficient processing and closing of loans.
Responsibilities:
- Handle the preparation, processing, and closure of new, renewed, and modified consumer and commercial loan requests.
- Book loans, renewals, and modifications accurately.
- Manage loan documentation by scanning into cold storage and maintaining titles for collateral loans.
- Process loan transactions promptly and accurately as needed.
- Monitor and maintain insurance coverage for all commercial and consumer loans, including renewals and force placement.
- Handle payoff requests, payment reversals/corrections, billing corrections, and processing rate changes.
- Stay updated on and adhere to Board-established policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to BSA, AML, CIP, and OFAC.
- Recognize and report suspicious transactions or inquiries, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Complete all required web-based compliance training within established time frames.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in banking or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in banking operations with a strong understanding of banking regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Professionalism in appearance and communication.
- Strong multitasking abilities and willingness to learn new functions in a dynamic banking environment.
