Overview :
The Loan Portfolio Manager is responsible for the Company's $100M loan portfolio and onboarding new stores. Some basic job duties include analyzing and reviewing security and collateral requirements, periodic audits of historical loans and stores, reviewing and approving documentation requirements for onboarding stores, managing a team of 3-4 staff, reporting weekly on status to management and the executive team, and working closely with the Business Development Team.
Job Description:
- Analyze Judgement/Lien and UCC searches to determine if a prospective store meets the requirements to join the Co-Op.
- Analyze security and collateral package and other due required diligence to determine exposure and provide recommendations to management and the loan committee.
- Review Membership and Security documentation for onboarding stores.
- Coordinate timely communication with attorneys, stores, internal teams, etc as
- due dates approach for onboarding and loan funding.
- Coordinate and review periodic collateral audits and obtain updated information, as required.
- Demonstrate an understanding of loan policy, underwriting, loan risk, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the loan committee (finance management, business development, and executive team), prospective and existing members, and attorneys to prepare, review, and ensure execution of all loan documents (due diligence documents, commitment letters, promissory notes, guarantees, collateral assignment of lease, etc )
Qualifications: - 5 years of commercial credit, real estate, or loan processing experience preferred
- Targeting for candidates that have underwriting and managerial experience
- Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Experience in organizing projects under deadlines and completing tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written. Ability to communicate with individuals and groups
- Bachelor's Degree
