Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Product & Site Support Manager to join our Little Mountain Test Facility (LMTF) team in Ogden, Utah. Position Responsibilities: Oversees operational elements of facilities and daily operations at the Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) Little Mountain Test Facility (LMTF) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Program (ICBM) Program.
Accountable for a variety of site functional staff supporting day-to-day operations and facility requirements at LMTF. This includes all LMTF operational elements of facilities, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical security, Information Technology (IT), environmental and safety requirements, material management, and shipping/receiving.
Primary point of contact leading site operations, facilities, and coordinating with regulatory agencies including HAFB 75th Air Base Wing (ABW), HAFB 309th, Minuteman III Systems Directorate (MMIII SD), and Boeing.
Has Responsibility, Accountability, and Authority (RAA) for all LMTF audits and inspections coordinating with and reporting to HAFB 75th ABW, MMIII SD, and Boeing leadership.
Leads efforts with strategies and innovated solutions to streamline daily operations across all LMTF facilities, operations, test labs, facility support equipment, property control, security systems, etc.
Leads teams to develop or revise LMTF processes, procedures, and operating instructions. This includes providing recommendations and leading efforts that develop solutions to complex operations, cyber, networking, security, material management or facility problems assessing possible recommendations or innovative solutions consistent with Boeing, MMIII SD, and HAFB 75th objectives.
Acquires necessary resources to meet LMTF site support and operations work scope, leads employees from multiple skill areas within a variety of site support functions, and other activities required to maintain industry leading test equipment and executions of LMTF's labs, buildings, and overall operations. Operational Responsibilities: Equipment, material, and Government Furnished Property (GFP).
Procurement support, purchasing equipment, material or commodities.
Supplier or vendor on-site service requirements, site coordination, scheduling, security coordination, and safety requirements.
Daily escorting coordination with customers, MMIII SD and HAFB 75th LMTF support such as janitorial services, CE support, and other related requirements.
Environmental and Hazardous material management controls, regulations, notifications, and other requirements coordinating/overseeing LMTF's EHOS officer.
Overall security requirements and oversight with physical, industrial, Intrusion Detection System (IDS), approval letters and documentations (e.g. Duress Lists), cyber, and LMTF's approved Authority to Operate (ATO) systems.
Other miscellaneous site operation requirements as required. Facility Responsibilities: Facility management overarching responsibilities, coordinating all facility requirements, and primary Boeing POC with MMIII SD program office, facility manager, finance and HAFB 75th Civil Engineering (CE) functions.
Facility coordination of all future upgrades, facility modifications, or new facility requirements at LMTF including direct responsibilities with MMIII SD and HAFB 75th ABW Integrated Technology Platform (ITP), AFMAN 32-1084 facility requirements, MILCON or Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) requirements, and HAFB Real Property requirements.
Primary POC to LMTF's on-site HAFB 75th Fire Department and Security Forces. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher.
More than 5 years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams.
More than 10 years of experience in Missile Defense Product Support.
More than 10 years of active experience with Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and/or test equipment. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): More than 5 years of experience demonstrating people management skills to include coaching, teaching, mentoring. More than 5 years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams. More than 5 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or construction. More than 5 years of lab test operations experience. Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.) Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Travel: Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
