Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise staff in organizing and managing data and evidence.
Maintain communication with the appellate manager to meet team deadlines.
Collaborate closely with the eDiscovery department.
Draft various legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and discovery materials.
Investigate, analyze, and summarize facts and evidence using online resources.
Coordinate records requests, including medical, FOIA, DMV, and court records.
Prepare pre-suit damages analyses.
Locate and interview witnesses, and collaborate with investigators as needed.
Assist with expert witnesses, from research to filing and attendance at events.
Research and analyze legal rules and case law.
Prepare privilege and redaction logs.
Coordinate independent medical examinations (IMEs).
Prepare appendices and excerpts of record for appellate cases.
Utilize e-Discovery platforms and other legal technologies effectively.
Assist with court filings and instruct docketing staff on deadlines.
Summarize depositions, witness statements, and evidence.
Create medical and case chronologies.
Prepare for and participate in arbitration, hearings, mediation, and trials.
Provide education and training on electronic data management to case teams and clients.
Select and coordinate litigation and trial vendors.
Offer hot seat support and manage courtroom activities.
Accurately track and record time spent on tasks and projects.
Some in-office presence may be required.
