A bit about us:

Our client is actively recruiting for an experienced litigation paralegal for their offices near Cumming, GA. The opportunity is with a well-known firm that is adding new positions to help support the firm's expanding business.

The firm represents client across a variety of practice areas including labor & employment, insurance defense, general liability, land use and zoning, real estate, construction, public/open records access and code enforcement among others. We are seeking paralegals with at least 2 years experience supporting all phases of civil litigation for multiple attorneys. Previous experience handling open records is preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities/Qualifications

  • Organize and maintain case files and documents. Manage case calendars, tracking deadlines, and ensuring compliance with

timelines.
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw/LexisNexis.
  • Act as a liaison between the attorney and clients.
  • Manage filings in state and federal court systems. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local court procedural rules and

regulations.
  • Organize and manage exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
  • Provide support in all stages of litigation and trial.
  • Effective collaborator with teammates and ability to work independently as needed.
