Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Handling a broad range of complex litigation matters and disputes related to the technology industry.
2. Providing expert counsel on general liability law and construction litigation.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and revising pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
4. Responding to written discovery requests and managing all aspects of discovery.
5. Conducting and defending depositions.
6. Representing the company in court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
7. Collaborating with other members of the legal team to develop effective defense strategies.
8. Staying up to date on current laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact the company.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in complex litigation, general liability law, and construction litigation.
4. Proven experience in drafting pleadings, answering written discovery, taking depositions, and participating in arbitrations/trials.
5. Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
6. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Familiarity with the technology industry and its legal challenges.
