Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from inception to trial
• Draft pleadings and motions
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs
• Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions
• Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
• Prepare trial notebooks and exhibits
• Conduct pre-trial conferences and settlement negotiations
• Attend trials and present evidence to the court
• Maintain accurate and detailed case records

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation on the Plaintiffs side.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in the state of Florida
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and meet deadlines
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Experience with case management software and electronic discovery tools
