Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction litigation and complex cases, with a proven track record of success in the courtroom. This position requires a deep understanding of legal principles and the ability to handle multi-party construction cases with professionalism and integrity. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on challenging cases, develop innovative legal strategies, and make a significant impact on our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a diverse range of litigation cases from inception through trial.
  • Conduct thorough case analysis and develop effective litigation strategies.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, briefs, and contracts.
  • Represent the company in court, present evidence, and argue cases confidently and persuasively.
  • Negotiate settlements in a manner that is in the best interest of the company.
  • Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure a cohesive approach to case management.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on a range of issues, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay abreast of current legislation, court rulings, and industry trends that may impact the company's operations.
  • Maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be a licensed attorney in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in construction law litigation.
  • Proven experience as a trial attorney, with a track record of success in complex, multi-party cases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle large amounts of data and legal concepts.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to represent the company effectively in a variety of settings.
  • High level of integrity and professional responsibility.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in legal research and writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
