We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented and dedicated attorney to handle a diverse portfolio of complex legal matters. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in civil litigation, with a focus on defense third-party auto matters. The candidate will be well-versed in New Jersey no-fault law and insurance laws. This role requires a high level of professionalism, ability to work independently, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda.
2. Handle a high volume of third-party auto defense matters.
3. Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal matters, providing clear and concise legal opinions and advice.
4. Represent the company in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
5. Develop and implement litigation strategies, and handle all aspects of trial practice.
6. Interact with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and experts.
7. Maintain current knowledge of New Jersey no-fault law and insurance laws, as well as updates and changes in these areas.
8. Collaborate with legal team members to ensure effective and efficient handling of legal matters.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
3. Minimum of 3-4 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on defense of third-party auto matters.
4. Extensive experience with New Jersey no-fault law and insurance laws.
5. Proven expertise in civil litigation, discovery, legal writing, legal research, and trial practice.
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work independently.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
10. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
11. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion in all matters.
